     Janice Oviatt founded her law office in 2002, after a four year association with a local Houston firm.  Her primary areas of practice are Immigration, Family and Criminal Law.

     She has a special affinity for immigration law, having been raised in Australia, a country much like the U.S., with a steady influx of immigrants seeking a better life for themselves and their families.  Because she grew up in "The-Land-Down-Under", where many of her close friends were immigrants, she gained a unique perspective and understanding of the challenges people face when they immigrate to a new country.  She has addressed civic groups on the subject of immigration and has been called upon to speak at her alma mater, Oklahoma City University School of Law.
